ABOUT
The First Water Bank of Utah was established in October 2023 and serves the people of the Uintah Basin. Utilizing new Utah legislation the water bank protects our member's water assets from forfeiture and condemnation procedures. Just depositing water into our bank eliminates the need to prove beneficial use.
Once a water asset is deposited, the bank provides additional beneficial uses including in-stream flows. Our members enjoy frictionless temporary lease transactions within our pre-approved usage area without the need of lengthy Change Applications. All of this is managed in our state of the art member portal software utilizing the latest software technologies powered by WETx, ensuring your data is safe.
